Florida’s early voter turnout is setting records this year.  The Associated Press, citing only unnamed analysts as authority, speculates that the record turnout may indicate support for Senator Barack Obama (D-IL).  Florida has not voted for a Democratic presidential candidate since it went for Bill Clinton in 1992.

Early voting brisk at Beaches site

Early voters turned out in good number at the public library in Neptune Beach.  Poll workers said voting both Monday and Tuesday was taking about 20-minutes.
At 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon there were 23-people standing in line and 24 voting booths filled with people.
